Cyndia SiedenSopranoCalifornia-born coloratura soprano Cyndia Sieden is renowned for her extraordinary vocal facility and interpretations of baroque, classical and contemporary repertoire. Ms Sieden’s engagements have included opera productions at the great opera houses of London, Munich, Paris, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, Copenhagen, New York and Salzburg. In addition to Queen of the Night, Zerbinetta, Cunegonde and Lulu she has performed several Handel heroines and received much acclaim for creating Ariel in Tom Adès’ The Tempest. On the concert platform Cyndia Sieden has appeared with many of the major European and North American orchestras such as Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, The Chicago and London Symphony Orchestras; The Tonhalle Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg. Amongst her musical collaborators are Christoph Eschenbach, John Eliot Gardiner, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, James Levine, Nicolas McGegan, Roger Norrington, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Carlo Rizzi.
