Davide Fersini

Baritone

Milan born baritone Davide Fersini obtained a degree in Psychology before changing career and training at the Accademia Internazionale della Musica, Milan, the Conservatorio A. Pedrollo Vicenza and the International Opera Studio Zurich . He is currently a member of the ensemble at Opernhaus Zürich.

To date, Davide Fersini’s roles in Zurich have included Aristone in Salieri’s La Grotta di Trofonio, Un Notaro Don Pasquale, Baron Der Ferne Klang, Epraimite Moses Und Aaron, Marquis d’Obigny La Traviata, Jack Wallace in Fanciulla del West and Dancairo Carmen. Elsewhere he has sung Don Alvaro Il Viaggio a Reims for the Accademia Rossiniana, Pesaro and Dr Malatesta Don Pasquale for the Opera Workshop at the Teatro Real, Madrid.

In 11/12 he sings Darlemont in Donizetti with Convenienze ed inconvenienze Teatrali (Impresario). He also appears with the company as Blansac in La Scala di Seta and makes his Salzburg Festival début as Benoit in La Bohème in 2012 under Daniele Gatti.
