Harry FehrStage DirectorBorn in the UK, he studied philosophy at the University of Nottingham and was a member of the Royal Opera, Covent Garden's Young Artists Programme, where he directed productions of Die schöne Müllerin and La serva padrona in the Linbury Studio Theatre. Since leaving the programme, he has directed Orlando, Il matrimonio segreto and La cenerentola for Scottish Opera, Stephen McNeff's Gentle Giant for ROH2 in the Linbury Studio Theatre, Così fan tutte for Diva Opera at Wilton’s Music Hall and Eugene Onegin and L’elisir d’amore for Blackheath Halls Community Opera. He has also directed Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor for the GSMD, Le nozze di Figaro for the RWCMD, Rinaldo for Trinity Laban and programmes of scenes for the GSMD and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He has directed revivals of Così fan tutte, La traviata and Macbeth for the Royal Opera. Plans include Così fan tutte for Opera Holland Park, Cendrillon for Blackheath Halls Community Opera, the world premiere of Craig Armstrong’s The Lady from the Sea for the Edinburgh International Festival, Der fliegende Holländer for Scottish Opera’s 50th anniversary season and La finta giardiniera for the Buxton Festival.
